Book of Mormon is back, yay!

Update is great.....EXCEPT, my tags and notes are not syncing

New update was suppose to fix having scriptures freeze while marking no them.. sorry to say scrips are frozen yet again

My app keeps opening to the beginning of the chapter instead of where I left off. Very frustrating.

Every time I try to highlight a long excerpt it gets stuck so I need to reload the app.

I really enjoy using the new sidebar. It saves a lot of time compared to having to click on each individual reference to a footnote I find interesting.

Robotic voices, dismal, and annoying. Please renew former recording! After a discouraging attempt to adjust to this new annoying audio, I went searching elsewhere and found that the Mormon channel is still providing the old one, though minus continuous play...sadly. Nevertheless, it is infinitely better than new LDS Library audio of The Book of Mormon!

The new app works well, but the new audio voice for the book of mormon is truly unbearable. The previous human voices were so much better--all of them. I did notice a few changes in voice here and there, and all of them were pretty good, but I simply cant listen to the audio anymore. Now I use the mormon channel app for audio. Please bring back the older voice!

I have loved this app. Until now. Im trying to prepare a lesson, and every time I try to highlight it freezes. Theres no way to unfreeze, I have to delete the app, losing all my old highlights, notes and downloaded items, and reload. Then, when I highlight, it freezes again! Now Im afraid to highlight, or make a notation, and Im afraid itll freeze in the middle of my lesson. This will be the third time today Ive had to re-download. FRUSTRATING.

First, Im rating the app, the content is 5 stars. The new 2017 updates are causing my app to freeze and the only way to un freeze it is to zap it and reload. Last week during a lesson I went to the scriptures and when I tried to go a back to the lesson, the lesson was there after a long pause, but my notes and highlights were gone! Also why is the content pre shaded? That really is disruptive to the highlights the teacher wants to add.

This was an amazing app. There are some problems. The highlighted portion of lessons has a grey background with grey font color that makes it difficult to read. Black text with white background is best. In a lesson when clicking on a scripture reference you only get those specific scriptures. The app used to pull up the chapter and highlighted the verse but gave you the ability to read more than just the specific verses quoted. Much learning is lost by not being able to read more of the chapter. Audio of many items was deleted such as the Ensign. Listening to the material on the library during my commute is how I study lessons. This app needs a lot of work to be as good as it once was. Thank you.

Its the best app out there for scripture reading. I recommend this to anyone and everyone!

The design of the gospel library app is wonderful! Its layout and organization make finding things a breezy, nice experience! Its just a shame that the app only works properly 50% of the time you use it. Constant freezing, crashing, glitching, etc.. standard works also wont play over Bluetooth audio no matter what I try to do. To be frank, quality programming, and engineering is needed to make the app reliable and usable.

I have loved using this app... After the last update, the audio failed and I cant listen while I commute to work. Hugely disappointed.

Twice today in church I have outlined a group of scriptures. The page will suddenly freeze. I can only get out by deleting the app and reloading in the App Store. Please fix

The app was great and worked just fine for me before the newest update. I could scroll really fast if I wanted to look up verses at the end of long chapters and it was easier to understand the symbols for selected texts. Now, when I scroll, it only goes down a couple verses at a time which gets pretty frustrating. On top of that, the app freezes even with the update that was supposed to fix it. Also, it takes longer to load. When I want to scroll to the left to go to the next chapter, it pulls out the footnotes instead which bugs me. I liked the older version where if I wanted to view them, I could press the button at the top right corner. Overall, this app isnt the easiest for me to use anymore. Recently found a new problem: when I try to highlight a verse, it either wont let me select the whole verse or it wont even show the options for the selected text! Even worse, I cant take the select marker off of the text! All in all, this new update makes me want to delete this app. I wont be using digital scriptures any longer until they fix these problems.

When I try to update a bookmark it will put a different bookmark there. It also deletes other bookmarks.

I liked the old footnotes way better. New ones dont show which footnote you are actually on & I dont like the way it does not allow you to view the scriptures while viewing the footnotes, which is not like studying the scriptures. Keeping it at bottom was much better, like in the scriptures. The new book mark function is not as intuitive & often does not work.

So I wasnt logged into my LDS account before the update and now with the new update a lot of my notes, tags, and highlights have been deleted. I had so much on this app I am so upset its all gone.

iPad Mini 2/iPhone 6, both on iOS 9. Tapping links from Sunday School lessons does not work. Markings in my priesthood lesson are super glitchy, randomly disappearing and reappearing. I really dont like the new footnote system because I cant see it and the scriptures at the same time.
